Berkey Water Filter Review

I have had the pleasure of using a Royal Berkey water filter for the past few months. Man do I love it!! I spent a while looking at water filters in the past, but to tell you the truth, there are a lot of misconceptions and inferior products out there.

To make matters worse, few of us stay in one location for more then a few years. Seemed like I was always caught in a hard spot, between not wanting to buy a cheap filter for the sink, to not wanting to go all out and spend the money on a full system for the house. And then I thought about portable, and I am glad I did. I know I can take this when I leave, which is good. Also, I don't have to worry about installation.

While there a lot of good filters out there for the house, this was a logical step. It has a great shine to it, and it seems like your pouring a fresh glass every time. What sold me the most was the ability for it to get out the Fluoride from their additional filter, that is about impossible to find in ANY portable filter.

The only drawbacks are the fact that you have to clean it, and that you always forget to add more water before its to late. If I were to suggest anything to the company it would be to lower the spigot to the absolute lowest point, I am tired of leaning it to get the last bit out. :0

The taste is great, I don't taste any chlorine what so ever. When I get a chance, I will test the water contaminants in a future review.

THank you Berkey. Water is our best resource, and 70% of body, so don't put junk in your body. Your TAXING you body to an unbelievable amount, when it has to remove impurities on its own. That poor liver!! Best of luck to you.
