Fruit Fly Removal - Safe & natural way to get rid of these pesky critters

For all those busy people like me who don't get around to cleaning the kitchen and dishes after every meal this is for you. Fruit flys just seem to come out of nowhere. At first most of us will ignore them, but let me tell you these suckers BREED fast and create unsanitary conditions, breeding germs and bacteria.

That's right, to bad were not like them, Wikipedia says fruit flys or vinegar flys can lay up to 400 eggs and they can hatch in 12 to 15 hrs!! Man, imagine if we could breed like that, this planet would be busting at the seems in months! The god news they only live for 7 days, but ignore the problem for a few days and you have a swarm of buggers all over the kitchen. Yes, cleaning up will help, but they seem to thrive on places with just drops of water and bits of food near the toaster and grease near the toaster oven.

I don't care how quick your hand is, don't even bother swatting them. I swear they know your going to swat them before you do it. I only got like one in 20, and I am fast.

Instead of spraying raid all over my kitchen, the way I got rid of fruit flies, was to set a trap. I left a pot on the stove with some leftover spaghetti at the bottom. About every hour I perk over there with a glass lid, and SLOWLY close it. GETS EM EVERY TIME! Just take it outside and they'll fly off in milliseconds. Make sure its glass, as the change of light will scare them off. Make sure you do this often, I get like 20 at a time, and your in luck they forget to tell their friends! LOL

Get it done as fast as you can, cause in 15 hrs you got new babies. Start with new bits of food every day, and throw OUTSIDE (Not inside trash can) the previous food, its got eggs in it. Make it a game. My record is about 30 fruit flys in one pot, whats yours? :0 Safe and humane removal of fruit flys is easy.
