The Health Risks of Genetically Modified Foods
After listening to a radio show with Jeffery Smith the author of "Seeds of Deception" the defacto expert on Genetically Modified food, I have only a few words, disgust with a thread of hope.
The health risks of Genetically modified food is astounding. Hundreds of medical conditions are being tied to Genetically Modified food. I know the FDA regulates this, well think again!. This article shows the American public has been doped. Sickening. Literally!
The test on rats, being fed GM potatoes, resulted in some scary results. In just 10 DAYS, the rats had pre-cancerous cell growth, diarrhea, shrinking testicles, intestinal flora destruction, mucus, sickness, the works.
You would think the amount of GM food is small, but based on this GMO food article its more then 50% in some foods: Soy (89%), Cotton (83%), Canola (75%), Corn (61%), Hawaiian papaya (more than 50%).

The disruption of intestinal flora in your gut and intestine is larger then one would suspect. The resulting DNA and cellular structures are very foreign to the body's immune system, and this leads to a ENORMOUS host of cellular disruptions that lead to many medical conditions. The worst thing is that it effects children 2 to 4 times as much because they are underdeveloped. GM soy rats are shown from a Russia study to be more aggressive and other destructive behaviors. 25% of children's tandrams were linked to food additives and dye coloring.
Believe it or not, their is 6 lbs. of Gut bacteria in average adult human. IF GMO genes get hold and cross-mix with normal cells and proliferate as a foreign cell it could be devastating. A chain reaction of sub-standard cell replication and divisions WILL cause health problems and can even lead to cancer. Autism, allergies, autism, he says made be linked.
People vote with their fork, in time the author thinks we can beat the big GM crooks. Mr. Smith really thinks their is a chance to defeat the food conglomerates. Their new shopping guide that is coming out in October, 2008 and being shipped to thousands of retailers across the country. Stop the madness, and choke the manufacturers by not buying their product. Some interesting Notes about GMO changes in the World:
South Africa: Good news, they are labelling Genetically Modified food in South Africa. Corn was eaten 3x a day, but monetarily it were afraid of loss, so they decided to make a change.
In India: 10,000 animals including sheep have died that have eaten Genetically Modified food! Like cotton. Gov't is about to allow genetically modified Eggplant!! Monsanto stikes again! Terrible. More Medical problems to follow. The one country you thought would stay true to natural food philosophies.

Sugar beets is about to be Genetically Modified! SO now our sugar is going to be GM. So the possibility of cross-pollination into other beet varieties and near relatives, such as chard. That is horrible.
Make a difference with your purchases, eating Non-GMO food is the key to getting your health back on track. Remember, you heal from the inside out, and only the body can heal itself. Drugs won't heal you.
Soon, hopefully I will work with a local company to sell and distribute healthy, pure, Non-GMO food. Food beyond organic and mostly Gluten free. Getting this food shipped without spoilage is the challenge. More later. In
